HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN DENTAL EMERGENCY TRAVEL KIT

Holiday time can be filled with lots of traveling. Our gift to you is this kit to help you deal with a toothache, loss of a filling, cap or crown, tooth fracture, and gum irritation. This kit is for emergencies only. It is not intended to replace regular professional dental care.

Mistletoe Kisses May Spread More Than Holiday Tidings!

Exchanging kisses may leave you with more than just friendship and good tidings. Kissing my give you up to 500 different species of germs including those that cause gum disease, warns the Academy of General Dentistry.

With just one kiss this infection can be passed between couples and even children!

Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults and affects three out of four persons and is easily transmitted through mouth to mouth contact (kissing).

Gum disease can place you at risk for heart attacks and strokes. In individuals with diabetes gum disease is associated with poor control of insulin levels. Gum disease in pregnant women at risk for having a low birth rate baby.

AGD recommends that people with gum disease refrain from kissing!
